Our mission

Mendent, LLC began as a multidisciplinary consulting firm helping organizations engage their audiences through innovative, human-centered strategies. Rooted in expertise spanning medicine, dentistry, healthcare policy, education, and digital transformation, we've since focused the firm on one group we refuse to watch get squeezed: independent dental, medical, and wellness practices.

Every year, more of those practices are absorbed by groups with central purchasing, central operations, and central profit. We believe the independent practice is worth fighting for — so we hand it the same leverage the groups use: group purchasing power, a documented operating system, and a standing partner who reads the numbers with the owner every quarter. Autonomy isn't isolation. It's independence with leverage.

Mendent was founded by a trio of healthcare professionals who believe independent practice owners deserve to grow — without selling out.

Dr. Rosmery Mendoza, DMD

Co-Founder & CEO

A practicing dentist with deep experience in general and digital dentistry — implant restoration, preventive care, and facial aesthetics — and a published researcher in health informatics. Her work in underserved communities is where Mendent's mission was born: innovation with empathy, for the practices that hold their communities together.

Dr. Jonathan Mendoza, DO, MS

Co-Founder & COO

A board-certified physician with a systems-thinking approach to care delivery. With a background in strategic innovation and integrated practice design, he leads the workflow, SOP, and operating-system side of Mendent — bridging clinical excellence with solutions that actually scale.

Dr. Miguel Mendoza, DBA, HCMBA

Co-Founder & CFO

A healthcare-focused business strategist with dual doctoral and MBA training in digital transformation and policy sustainability. He guides Mendent's financial strategy, practice growth planning, and industry partnerships — and owns the spend analysis behind every Spend Scan and Co-Op negotiation.

Together, we lead Mendent with one shared goal: to empower clinicians to own their future — through smarter strategy, not outside control.

Backed by an experienced advisory bench

Behind the three founders sits a select group of advisors — clinicians and executives with decades of experience across private practice, dentistry, biotech, and both the private and public sectors. Their roles span clinical leadership, operations, healthcare finance, and business development as founders and serial entrepreneurs in their own right.
